Frequently Asked Questions
Do you deliver every image you shoot?
No, but I have a good reason for it. Depending on the length of our session, I may end up taking thousands of photos. It can take me a moment to sort through them all, I save you all the hassle of having to do that on your own. Another reason I choose not to deliver all the images I take is because I want to ensure you're getting the best of the best. I don't want you to flip through hundreds of photos that are just okay. I want you to struggle to decide which to post first because you love them all so much!
What is a cosmetic edit?
A cosmetic edit is my term for a professional retouch. I offer a lot more than you're normal teeth whitening and acne removal. When it comes to my retouch I will actually break down the layers of an each image, allowing me realistically alter the photo. This allows me to flawlessly remove acne, touch up makeup like smeared lipstick or patchy foundation, and even remove eczema, rashes, and sun burns. My cosmetic edit also includes slimming and cellulite removal for clients with those concerns. If you are interested in purchasing a cosmetic edit for your shoot, you will have the choice between my Basic and Pro edit packages. After you inquire, I will send my full pricing guide, which will include a break down of both, to help you decide if which would be best suited for your needs. Both packages are at an additional cost, and are not included in my regular pricing.
How many pictures will we receive?
Each of my packages comes with a specific amount of images that I've based on the amount of time we have together and number of locations. For full details on how many images you receive, please shoot me an email. I'd be happy to pass all the information along.
How soon will we receive our images?
I deliver my images within 2 weeks of our shoot for general sessions. 3 - 4 weeks if you decide to purchase a cosmetic edit. For weddings I deliver most albums within 7 -8 weeks, with a generous sneak peak of 40-80 images within a week of your wedding. If you choose to purchase a cosmetic edit for your wedding, the timeline will be altered to 10 - 12 weeks.
Do you travel?
Yes! All of my packages cover locations within 30 minutes of Hood River, OR. For locations father than that, I will require a travel fee to cover fuel and time. My travel fees vary depending on location. If you have questions on travel fees please shoot me an email!
I didn't see rates for large family sessions under pricing. Is that something you do?
Sadly no, I will no longer be accepting large family sessions. Although, I will take small family sessions of 3 - 5 individuals.
Do you charge extra for pets?
Nope! You can bring the whole farm and I wont charge you a dime for it!
Do you do newborn sessions?
I offer life style sessions for those who are wanting to document their newborns. This can be at your home, outdoors, or at a indoor studio (at an additional cost), but I do not offer any wrap style or prop newborn sessions.
I am looking for a maternity session, but for more than just my husband and I? Is that something you do?
My maternity packages are set up to include happy mama and 2 other individuals. If your family is larger than 3, I would consider this a small family session, and you will want to grab one of my small family session slots.
